After 20 years in the Nevada desert we moved to Oregon and I do miss the desert. It was nice looking out your window at the spiny plant. Your painting at this point looks very interesting with lots of obvious talent, love the colors. Enjoy your day and I agree it is a land of Enchantment.
Both are sumptuous and beautiful. The knife painting has an especially nice variety in the greens (those blue-greens in the shrubs at right are nice). In the brush painting, I love the more distant and subdued background, and the masterful use of violet contrast in the shadows. Nice work!
